In order to take photos of your children before church on Easter morning, I have decided, that you must be at least a bit crazy. Or full of pride or a mix of both as is the case with me. This should have never been atempted. My excuse is that I thought that maybe the dresses would never survive the day and I spent so much time and money on them I just wanted the pictures. But the reality is that it made for a crazy- Non relaxing morning and an even crazyer angry mama.
I went to the market and picked out the fabric. An amazing feat all in its own. I drew pictures of the dresses and conveyed the ideas to a taylor.And for me it was a success. It is our easter tradition to give each girl a new dress for easter day. This year I also had the pleasure of making matching outfits for Chris and malachi.

I can sooo relate to the desire for Easter pictures for all the same reasons! And the stress it can cause. I never got one this year of all the kids or the whole family that I loved, but ended up cropping and just making a collage! But I LOVE your girls' Easter dresses! I look forward to dressing up Alaina for special occasions too. Will be praying for you guys as you figure out the best way to get some relaxation and refreshment to keep on doing the work the Lord has called you to do!
